Sugababes have been announced as the second headliners for Brighton and Hove Pride 2025.
The trio – comprised of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy – will be taking to the stage on Sunday August 3 for this year’s edition of the festival.
It comes just after confirmation that Mariah Carey would be appearing this year too. The pop star was revealed as the first headliner for the Brighton event earlier this year, and the set comes five years after she was set to perform there in 2020. That year’s instalment was ultimately scrapped due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the announcement today (February 17), a spokesperson for The Sugababes said that the three members were “over the moon” to join the 2025 line-up (via BBC News).
This year’s edition of Brighton Pride will be held in the usual spot of Preston Park on August 2 and 3.
For their set, the British girl group are expected to bring out hits from their back catalogue including ‘About You Now’ and ‘Push The Button’. Visit here to buy tickets.

As for the group, Keisha Buchanan has been part of them since their formation in 1998. Sugababes’ original line-up reunited in 2019 with the current line-up.
The trio recently announced their biggest-ever UK and European arena tour for 2025 with stop-offs at The O2 in London, the Co-op Live in Manchester, BP Pulse Live in Birmingham, Cardiff’s Utilita Arena, Newcastle’s Utilita Arena and the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.
European shows include stops in Antwerp, Amsterdam, Cologne, Berlin, Paris, Zurich and Milan. You can purchase any remaining tickets here.
Previous headliners for Brighton Pride have included Steps and Black Eyed Peas, who both performed in 2023, and Girls Aloud, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Mika, who took to the stage last year.
