Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley lead a different kind of Marvel series in Wonder Man.

Created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, the comedy series follows struggling actors Simon Williams and Trevor Slattery, previously of Mandarin fame, as they try and land roles in the remake of a superhero film called Wonder Man.

Other cast members in the show include X Mayo, Zlatko Burić, Arian Moayed, Joe Pantoliano, Byron Bowers and Josh Gad.

Wonder Man is technically the 17th TV series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and falls under Phase Six alongside Eyes Of Wakanda and Marvel Zombies.

The show’s score is by Joel P. West, whose previous credits include Marvel’s Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings and Just Mercy starring Michael B. Jordan.
